Known as “Simmo” to all who know him, Paul is a born and bred Marlburian who has worked in and around farms and machinery for most of his life. He ran a free-range egg farm based in the Wairau Valley for many years, establishing the iconic Marlborough Golden Yolks brand, before selling up in 2015 to tackle other challenges. After 36 years working on farms and handling stock, he still gets a deep sense of satisfaction from working on the land and helping to maximise its productivity.

As a keen dog trialler, Paul loves nothing more than spending time with his three dogs, Skye, Shade, and Jill, training and preparing for local competitions. In his line of work, Paul has seen a need for remote-controlled mowing services in Marlborough and is excited to help vineyard and farm owners tame the more challenging sites on their properties, keeping sloped, difficult-to-access terrain well-maintaned and up to standard.
